Are You Leveraging Your Fundraising Efforts!

As I write this, I’m sitting at a Toyota Garage getting our Avalon serviced.  Cars, Cars, Cars!  All around me, red, white blue, and black.  And what an amazing machine!

The automobile demonstrates the power of leverage!   Every time you open the door, jump in, and put in the key . . . what happens?

A thousand mechanical and electrical parts swing into gear in almost miraculous ways.  And you effortlessly move forward on top of the world moving in the direction of fullfiling your momentary desire!  Amazing!

But here’s the catch. You don’t get the leverage and action and your desires fulfilled UNLESS you first build the machine!  Without the designed and built machine you would be twiddling your thumbs in an empty garage.

And here’s my point:  This is the same reality with fundraising.

It’s absolutely possible for you to have a loyal group of Anchor donors, totally funding your ministry month-after month; allowing you to minister more stress free; providing well for you family while in that foreign culture; and taking those well-deserved  vacations!

But you first have to ‘build’ your fundraising system.

This scenario mentioned above of full funding, doesn’t happen on the front end.

It happens on the back end after a lot of time and effort have gone into the process!

So if you are presently in the fundraising mode, keep at the tasks you are presently doing.  But also work smarter, not harder.

I want to help you in that process.

I’ve developed a resource, Dynamic Partnership Development, (DPD), to integrate
(1) traditional fundraising methods with today’s
(2) social media methods
into one comprehensive fundraising system.

Learn more at, and leverage your fundraising efforts like you do your car!

Wouldn’t it be wise to put a little time into your fundraising this summer to ensure you stay fully funded for the long haul?  (blog posts on fundraising research, ideas, tools, etc.)   (short weekly posts on fundraising)
