Dreams Still Have an Impact

Today it seems our Lord is continuing to bring Mus lims to Himself through visions and dreams. Here is an exciting story illustrating that fact. (fr P I)

A young Christian woman in a Muslim country was in a taxi on her way to a Bible study. God told her, “Tell the driver, ‘Jesus loves you.’” The driver had a long beard and was wearing the baggy shirt and trouser that identify fundamentalists in that country.

The young woman was afraid, so she said to God, “I’ll wait until I’m at my destination, and then I’ll tell him, ‘God loves you’ right after I pay the fare as I’m jumping out the door.”

God said, “No, Tell him ‘Jesus loves you.’” The young woman continued wrestling with God about this request identified in her spirit.

When she reached her destination, she handed the money to the driver, opened the door to step out, said, “Jesus loves you,” and started to hurry away.

The driver called after her to come back, that he wanted to talk to her. She was still afraid, but since it was a very public place with many people around she had the courage to go back and talk to the driver through the open car window.

The driver said, “Why did you tell me, ‘Jesus loves you?’ Four times in the past month I have had a dream. In the dream I see Jesus and he asked me why I am running from his love. Last night, for the fifth time this month I had the same dream. This time Jesus said, “Why are you running from my love? I love you, and to prove it I will give you a sign. Tomorrow, you will give a ride to a young woman. She will tell you that I love you right after she pays the fare, then she will jump out of the taxi and run away.”

The young woman explained the Gospel to the taxi driver. He believed and was later baptized along with his family.

God is still doing miracles 2000 years after Jesus rose from the dead.
