A few years after we started the 1st Life Impact Oasis in Sunriver, Oregon, a missionary wife and mother, Denele Ivins, came to our Oasis for a personal Retreat. She was in a major transition from mission field back into the home country field. Denele is a writer who is very able to reflect on experience and write that down to help others. Here’s a blog post she wrote about her transition.
“My hands gripped the steering wheel as my mini-van cut through the ranch-strewn countryside of eastern Oregon. I was escaping to a retreat center for missionaries, in desperate need of rest and restoration.
